Bank of the West: On Assignment for McGuffin Creative Services
Bank of the West is a regional financial services company, headquartered in San Francisco, California. It is a subsidiary of BNP Paribas. It has more than 600 branches and offices in the Midwest and Western United States. It differentiates itself from other financial institutions by actively investing in green and sustainable ventures.
In these online and social advertising pieces, BOTW was targeting millennials interested in financing their new homes. Simple animation helped grab attention and tell the story of a need for more space and low mortgage rates. The viewer is initially lead down an expected path of new family/new home only to realize that this new family need is different.
